For an athlete to maximize their potential, they need to be able to cope with the physical and psychological demands of their training, recover appropriately, and progress gradually.
As a Musculoskeletal Specialist my role is to assess, correct, and empower human movement.
Every athletic injury is due to improper movement repeated numerous times or under a one-time load exceeding the tolerance of an athlete's tissues and nervous system. A proper movement assessment done by a trained professional can both proactively prevent these injuries from occuring and increase movement quality to promote the highest level of performance.
